If you provide a <program name>.cm.msgs.dll file then it needs to be installed to the same directory as the <program name>.cm file. To find this directory:

1. Look for a .ini file (<protected program name>.cm.ini) in the same directory as the protected program.

2. If the .ini file does not exist then the .cm.msgs.dll file should be in that program directory.

3. If the .ini file does exist, open it (it is just a plain text file) and look for a line starting Path=.

4. The .cm.msgs.dll file should go in the path specified by Path=.

If you use CMInstall.exe, it should automatically put it in the correct location provided it is in the source directory.
